yupe ....... i am a reuters photographer, based in kuala lumpur, malaysia.

yupe ....... i left my architecture practice, why? because i could not resist of NOT hearing the clicking of the camera shutter.

yes, after seven years of schooling architecture, and seven years of practicing architecture, i was quite "radical" to make that decision.

i missed the clicking of the shutter when i was on my drawing board,
but i am NOT missing the drawing board when i am hearing the clicking of the shutter .....

and yupe, i was shooting in the united states, near the old city of new orleans, for almost ten years. yes yes ... it was the one that hit by katrina !!

those are the most common questions i have been asked since i started shooting in malaysia and since i left architecture.

. . . . .

i learned that i can make a living out of  CREATIVITY  from my DAD when i was growing up in a quiet small town in the northeastern part of peninsular malaysia.

i started learning that i can make a living out of  SEEING CREATIVELY  when i studied architecture in the bayou state of louisiana in the united states.

i started picking up lenses when i was 17, during my first year of architecture school at louisiana state university.

and i think that i am a few of the lucky ones, who are always look forward for monday, to enjoy seeing the world in my own way.

i can't see myself doing anything else with my life ……….

when a passion pays for living, everyday is a sunday, and i have been enjoying every seconds of my everyday sunday .

when a job is a hobby, it' is not a job anymore, it's an experience in exploring opportunities.
